Description

RUBI manufactures its tungsten carbide wheels, whose main characteristic is their high resistance to friction wear.

Most ceramic materials that, historically, have been used for surface coating, have used enamels and smooth finishes and, with minimal roughness. With the appearance of non-slip materials or rustic stoneware (especially suitable for outdoor), the roughness of the ceramic was increased. To minimize the impact of this roughness, on its surroundings, RUBI, designs the GOLD range.

Each wheel is rectified in a unified manner so that each diameter has an incision angle according to its function and use. Each diameter of wheel offers different results and yields, depending on the type of ceramic material for which they were designed.

The recommended use of the RUBI GOLD Scoring wheel is in the scoring of glazed stoneware (BIIa / BIb), rustic or extruded stoneware (AIIa / AIb) and porcelain stoneware (BIa) with smooth and/or slightly rough finishes.

The range of GOLD-scoring wheels increases the wear resistance of tungsten carbide by means of a titanium coating. Thanks to this treatment, RUBI GOLD wheels offer a superior life to SILVER wheels. This increase in life, under the same conditions of use as a SILVER, this increase can be up to 50% more over the life of a SILVER.

RUBI GOLD wheels use a shaft with a triple grooved geometry (design and RUBI patent), which guarantees, at all times, a correct assembly on the manual cutter, as well as a firm fixation and firm and vibration-free scratching. Forming the best combination to always obtain the best results.
