Fundo Ligno Plus shower elements were developed especially for use in old and new buildings with suspended timber floors. They are ready to receive tiles or Fundo Top design surfaces as a finish.
The Fundo Ligno Plus is just 23mm thick at its outer edges and can therefore be easily integrated into the existing wooden layer.
wedi Fundo shower elements can be installed on almost any surface as a directly tileable, flush-to-floor shower system. The system includes a hard rigid XPS foam core with a special cementitious surface coating, a predefined surface gradient and a matching drainage. Due to its special design, the Fundo Ligno Plus is especially suitable for installation on wooden floors. Thanks to its outer edge thickness of just 23mm it sits and fits flush with the existing wooden layer.
Areas of application:
• In domestic construction.
• In publicly accessible buildings and workplaces according to DIN 18040 Part 1.
• In barrier-free dwellings according to 18040 Part 2 (please note specifications for minimum tile size if wheelchair access is planned, see Technical properties).
• As a construction seal combined with tile and natural stone coverings of the load class A0 (moderately loaded floor surfaces subject to surface flowing water in indoor applications; directly loaded floor surfaces in rooms, more information at www.wedi.net).

Long-term compressive strength (50 years) ≤ 2 % compression EN 1606: 0,08 N/mm².
Compressive resistance at 10 % compression EN 826: 0,25 N/mm².
Thermal conductivity EN 13164: 0,036 W/mK.
Bulk density EN 1602: 32 kg/m³.
Temperature limits: -50°C / +75°C.
Fire behaviour EN 13501, building material class: E.
Waterproof tested to: 1,5 bar.
Suitable for wheelchair loading from a minimum tile size of: 50 × 50mm.
Glass mosaic from a minimum size of: 20 × 20mm.
Standard height of a Fundo Ligno Plus element:
- Outer edge height: 23mm.
- Height of the reinforced drain area: 44mm.
Corresponding drain heights:
