Mapei Mapenet 150 Mesh is made from glass fibres treated with a special primer that makes it resistant to alkalis according to the requirements of the EAD specification 040016-00-0404 (that replaced ETAG 004 from October 28, 2020). Once the waterproofing layer where it is installed has hardened, Mapenet 150 reinforces the layer to protect against the formation of cracks due to movement in the substrate or the tiled surface. It also makes it easier to apply an even layer of the chosen product and improves the system’s resistance to temperature variations and abrasion.
