Primer FD is an adhesion promoter for silicone and hybrid sealants from the Mapei range. It can be used on concrete, wood, metal, painted surfaces, plastic and rubber or in case of joints subject to prolonged immersion into water.
Primer FD is a one component, silicone resin based neutral primer. It is a yellow transparent liquid. It is applied on the joint shoulders as to obtain a transparent lm (absorbent substrates require several coats).

Colour: Yellow.
Density (g/cm³): 0.92.
Dry Solids Content (%): 45.
Viscosity (mPa·s): 1-2 (rotor 1 - rpm 100).
Storage & Shelf Life: Primer FD, when stored in a cool and dry place (at a temperature not higher than +25°C) has a storage life of 6 months.
